REGULATIONS & CONDITIONS

SELECTION FOR PROGRAMME & SCREENING:
The person submitting a film must be entitled to do so and confirms so via this submission form. By submitting a film the filmmakers, copyright owners and distribution rights owners agree to have the film screened if selected for the programme. The screening of a selected film may not be cancelled by its owners or anyone having rights to the submitted film. The submission of a film does not guarantee acceptance to the festival. The selection for the festival programme will be made by the programmers of the British Shorts Film Festival and successful applicants will be contacted by email. Please note that we cannot return any of the DVDs submitted. If you wish to have your DVDs returned after the festival, you will have to arrange for the shipment by yourself. The festival does not cover or refund any shipping costs. If selected for the festival programme, we reserve the right to screen your film as part of two „British Shorts“ screenings that may take place after the festival in Germany and abroad.

FESTIVAL ATTENDANCE:
All filmmakers submitting work to the festival, whether or not selected for the programme, are welcome to attend. Unfortunately, we are unable to cover any of your expenses. If your film is selected for screening and you want to come to Berlin, let us know and we can try to help arrange accommodation.
